Houghton University Equestrian Team was having trouble with compaction of their footing and also had a large wet area in their indoor.  We removed the footing and were able to determine that there was a large depression in the base of the indoor that was holding water from when they watered the footing and that was causing the wet area.  We were able to repair the base and eliminate the problem.  We then added 80 tons of new sand to the arena and remixed and regraded the footing.
